Serenade - Champagne Flute
The Serenade collection originated during the period of Art Nouveau, known as "Jugendstil" in German. At the crossroads of the 19th and 20th centuries, this period was one of the great creative phases of the Theresienthal manufacturer. Numerous famous artists worked at the manufactory and designed a wide variety of shapes, patterns, engravings and cut-outs of great stylistic quality. The pieces in the Serenade collection are painted in filigree with nature-inspired designs and stand on organically shaped stems.
Based in Bavaria, Theresienthal creates innovative designs but also continues to produce collections based on age-old shapes and patterns, the result of inherited craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation. Each piece is handmade: from the melting of the raw material, through the mouth-blowing, to the polishing of the glass.
