Francesco De Maio

Antico Vietri - Sapri modificato Set of 25 Ceramic Tiles 20 x 20 cm

Ceramica Francesco de Maio was founded in the small fishing village of Vietri sul Mare, on the Amalfi coast, largely influenced by the ancient cultures of the Mare Nostrum. This is how the Antico Vietri Collection was born.

The earthenware tiles are made using silk-screen printing techniques, and some of the motifs are hand-painted.

The predominance of classical shades of blue, light blue, red and black, evoke the typical Vietri decorations of the late 18th and early 19th  centuries.
