Agra Tulip - Hoop Earrings
Are you looking to work on a custom-made project ?
Contact Christine Bekaert to share your project, your ideas and work on the creation of a unique interior.
This collection was inspired by the marble flower sculptures at the Taj Mahal in Agra, in which the tulip often appeared. Mughals loved gardens and flowers and represented them in miniatures, wall paintings, marble sculptures and jewellery.
Christine Bekaert draws her inspiration from her environment, where authenticity and emotions are combined. She then creates her designs and selects the materials with which she will work, such as 18-carat gold, brass or gilded silver. Her designs are then entrusted to the hands of her specialised craftsmen, each of whom has a very specific role and an ancestral know-how that has been passed down for generations.
